The 24th World Congress of Architecture, “UIA2011 TOKYO”, will be held in Tokyo, Japan from September 25 to October 1 in 2011. Japan will first host the UIA congress that has taken place triennial in cities around the world since 1948. The UIA congress brings together thousands of architects, architectural students and engineers from all over the world.

With the theme of “Design 2050”, UIA2011 TOKYO will provide the participants the opportunity to exchange views and share the visions of sustainable architecture, so as to help explore a new direction of the world’s cities and the environment in the immediate future.
