City Walking
One of the best ways to visit important works of architecture in Tokyo is by using public transportation and walking. During the upcoming UIA2011TOKYO Conference, the Japan Organizing Board (JOB) is planning to offer an City Walking as an optional activity. A list of proposed walks may be found below (click on a name of the walk that interests you for more information).
Prior reservations for the City Walking will not be accepted. If you wish to participate in a walk, please arrive at the designated assembly point at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the walk. Each participant will be responsible for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred during the walk. No group insurance is provided by the City Walking -- participants are encouraged to arrange for their own travel accident and liability insurance in their home country prior to arriving in Japan.
Please note that itineraries for each walk organized under the City Walking are subject to change. For the latest information, please contact the City Walking desk at Tokyo International Forum during the congress.
